Hamilton Auto Electrical and 4X4 came to life in early 2024 after Sam, the owner noticed Hamilton and surrounds were missing a dedicated Auto Electrical and 4WD Off Road specialist. Previously locals had to travel over an hour to either Horsham or Warrnambool to fulfil their needs. With an extensive 15 year career in the Auto Electrical and 4WD sector, as well as a deep passion for all things Off Road it was only natural that Sam made it his personal mission to provide that missing piece to the local community.

What began as weekends and afterhours fit outs quickly grew to the point that a fulltime business was established, operating from Sam’s shed in Cavendish, VIC. Word quickly got around and before too long the shed was outgrown and a move into central Hamilton was on the cards. By October 2025 a workshop was opened at 10 Peck Street, Hamilton, which is where you can find us today!

At the start of 2026 our first Auto Electrical apprentice Isaac came on board, sharing Sam’s passion for all things 4WD and Off Road, combined with his customer focused values and friendly personality, Isaac has been a welcome addition to the business.
